NIMA – Network Of Indian MICE Agents and Jaipuria School of Business Sign MoU to Strengthen MICE Industry Readiness Among Tourism Students
New Delhi, May 28, 2025 – The Network of Indian MICE Agents (NIMA) and Jaipuria School of Business (JSB) have entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance career readiness of students in the tourism sector, with a focus on the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry.
The MoU was officially signed on May 28, 2025, marking a significant milestone in industry-academia collaboration. This partnership is designed to enrich student learning through an industry-aligned curriculum, hands-on internships, live projects, and expert-led workshops. The initiative also extends to faculty development and tailored training programs, reinforcing JSB’s position as a premier managemente institute specializing in Tourism & Hospitality.
The signing ceremony was attended by distinguished dignitaries from both organizations, including:

• Dr. Tapan K. Nayak, Dean, JSB
• Dr. Nitin K. Saxena and Dr. Namita Nath, Program Chairs, JSB
• Dr. Monika Aggarwal, Associate Professor, JSB
• Mr. Gajesh Girdhar, Founder & Chairman Governing Council NIMA
• Mr. Rakesh Arora, Founder , Coordinator – Admin, Finance & Membership, NIMA
• Mr. Vikas Khanduri, Advisor, NIMA
The MoU was formalized by Mr. Gajesh Girdhar from NIMA, along with Dr. Rajiv R Thakur and Dr. Tapan K. Nayak from JSB.
This collaboration underscores a shared commitment to bridge the gap between academic training and industry requirements, ensuring that graduates are future-ready for the dynamic demands of the MICE sector.
